To further enhance all employees' awareness of emergency aid and their capabilities for self-rescue and mutual assistance—thereby fortifying workplace safety
defenses and promoting the philosophy that "everyone learns first aid, and first aid is for everyone"—JUAN Technology Co., Ltd. today organized a specialized training session on first aid knowledge certified by the American Heart Association (AHA). Professional first aid instructors were invited to conduct on-site classes, empowering every employee to master critical "hard skills" that can save lives in moments of crisis.
As the global authoritative body for setting standards and providing training in cardiovascular and cerebrovascular emergency care and resuscitation techniques, the American Heart Association (AHA) boasts a scientific and standardized training system. The skills covered are highly practical and actionable, and the program has been widely adopted in over 140 countries worldwide. This training strictly adhered to the AHA’s standardized instructional protocols, employing a "closed-loop" teaching model that combines concise theoretical lectures, hands-on practical drills, and interactive error correction sessions to ensure that the training content is deeply internalized and effectively applied in real-world situations.
At the outset of the training, the instructor—drawing upon the core tenets of the 2025 AHA Guidelines for CPR and ECC—systematically explained, in clear and accessible language, the criteria for recognizing sudden cardiac arrest, the core principles of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and the appropriate scenarios and operational protocols for Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs). Particular emphasis was placed on the "Golden First Aid Process"—comprising early recognition and calling for help, high-quality CPR, and rapid defibrillation—as well as the critical importance of the "Golden 4 Minutes" for resuscitating a patient in cardiac arrest; noting that for every minute of delay, the patient's survival rate drops by 7% to 10%, the instructor helped employees gain a profound appreciation for both the importance and the urgency of first aid skills. Furthermore, the instructor addressed potential emergencies that may arise in the workplace or daily life—such as sudden heart attacks, airway obstructions caused by foreign objects, or accidental falls—by breaking down the key steps for emergency response and dispelling common misconceptions regarding first aid, thereby enabling employees to establish a scientifically sound framework for emergency response thinking.

Following the conclusion of the theoretical lectures, the session transitioned to the hands-on practical drills—a segment that constituted the primary focus of this training program. Utilizing teaching aids such as CPR manikins and AED devices, the instructor provided hands-on demonstrations and instruction. They meticulously broke down and explained every critical step—ranging from the correct positioning, frequency, and depth of chest compressions to the proper techniques for opening an airway and performing rescue breaths, and finally to the key procedures for operating an AED (powering on, applying electrode pads, and delivering a shock). Throughout this process, special emphasis was placed on core standards: a compression rate of 100–120 times per minute, a compression depth of 5–6 cm for adults, and ensuring that interruptions to compressions do not exceed 10 seconds. Employees rotated through practical exercises in small groups, with the instructor circulating throughout the session to provide guidance. They patiently corrected individual errors—such as improper compression posture, incorrect breathing rhythm, or unfamiliarity with AED operation—to ensure that every employee fully mastered the standardized techniques. The atmosphere was highly engaging; participants actively interacted with one another, diligently refining every emergency response movement to ensure they could perform with precision and provide scientifically sound aid in the event of an emergency.

During the training, the instructor also highlighted that AHA emergency response skills are applicable not only in the workplace but also in daily life. Whether a sudden emergency befalls family members, colleagues, or strangers, possessing standardized first-aid skills can buy precious time for life-saving interventions. Furthermore, holding an AHA first-aid certification provides international recognition and, crucially, offers legal protection (Good Samaritan immunity) when rendering aid in critical moments—thereby effectively alleviating employees' concerns regarding the fear of "daring not to help" or "not knowing how to help."

Following the training, employees unanimously expressed that this AHA first-aid course was highly practical and relevant to real-world situations. They noted that they not only acquired systematic professional knowledge and skills in emergency response but also significantly enhanced their personal safety awareness and emergency handling capabilities, truly mastering life-saving skills. There was a consensus that such training demonstrates both the company's commitment to employee safety and its deep-seated humanistic care; participants expressed hope that the company would continue to offer similar training initiatives in the future, enabling even more people to acquire these vital first-aid skills.

This specialized AHA first-aid training initiative represents a significant step taken by JUAN Technology Co., Ltd. to uphold its commitment to humanistic care, reinforce workplace safety standards, and enhance the overall professional competence of its employees. Moving forward, the company will continue to refine its emergency training system, integrating the dissemination of first aid knowledge into its routine training curriculum. By striving to embed first aid skills into daily operations and ensure they resonate deeply with every individual, we aim to foster a safety culture where "everyone understands, knows how to perform, and has the confidence to administer first aid." This initiative not only safeguards the lives and safety of our employees but also demonstrates our corporate social responsibility and commitment, allowing the blossom of safety to flourish in every corner of the workplace.
